These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Bio Wizard, available at biowizardrevision.com (the "Service"). Bio Wizard is operated as a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Bio Wizard is

Bio Wizard is an online revision tool for A-level Biology. It provides exam-style practice questions and uses AI to mark the answers you write, giving you a score, feedback on the points you covered, and suggestions to improve.

2. Not affiliated with Eduqas or WJEC

Bio Wizard is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Eduqas, WJEC, or any exam board. The practice questions are our own original material written in an exam style; they are not past exam papers. "Eduqas" and other exam board names are used only to describe the syllabus the material is designed to support.

3. AI marking

Bio Wizard uses advanced AI to mark your answers and give detailed feedback, and we work hard to make it as accurate and helpful as possible. It is designed as a study aid to support your revision — not an official marking service. AI-generated scores and feedback are indicative and should not be treated as official marks or grade predictions, and Bio Wizard does not guarantee any particular exam result. Always use your own judgement alongside your teacher and official resources.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when signing up, and you must not share your account or let others use it. Please tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
  • attempt to copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute our questions, marking content, or other materials;
  • attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
  • misuse the Service in any way that could harm us or other users.

6. Free and paid plans

Bio Wizard offers a free plan with a limited number of AI-marked answers, and a paid subscription that removes that limit.

  • The subscription costs £4.99 per month and renews automatically each month until cancelled.
  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
  • You can cancel at any time by turning off auto-renewal in your account. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for.
  • Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.
  • We may change our prices in the future. If we do, we will give you notice before the change applies to you.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future payments; it does not refund payments already made. If you simply stop using the Service, your subscription will continue to renew until you cancel it.

8. Intellectual property

All content on Bio Wizard — including the questions, marking points, feedback, design, and branding — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You are given a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own revision only. You may not reproduce or distribute our content without our permission.

9. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and working well, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change, or temporarily suspend the Service at any time.

10. Our liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any reliance on the AI-generated marking or feedback. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for death or personal injury caused by our negligence). This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Ending your access

We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms or misuse the Service. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
